Currently, Tamesis Medical does not accept patients with government insurance programs like Medicare and Medicaid. However, we are actively working towards the ability to serve these patients in the future. If you have Medicare or Medicaid and are interested in receiving care with us once this change takes place, we encourage you to join our wait list. We will notify everyone on the wait list as soon as we begin accepting patients with government insurance, ensuring you stay informed and can access our affordable, direct-access health care services when available.
Tamesis Medical offers do comprehensive services designed to address non-life-threatening medical issues that require prompt attention, such as minor injuries, infections, and sudden illnesses. While Tamesis Medical provides direct access to affordable and timely care, it does not operate as an urgent care or emergency department for critical or life-threatening emergencies. For serious conditions like chest pain, severe trauma, difficulty breathing, or stroke symptoms, patients are advised to seek immediate assistance at a hospital emergency room or call emergency services.
Tamesis Medical operates Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. We are closed on weekends and certain holidays. If you require medical assistance outside of our regular hours, we recommend contacting emergency services or visiting an urgent care facility. For routine appointments or inquiries, please schedule them within our operating hours to receive timely and personalized care.
Outside of standard operating times—including after hours, weekends, and holidays—calls are monitored by our dedicated medical team. Routine concerns or non-urgent matters received during these times will be addressed promptly on the next business day to ensure proper follow-up and care. For urgent medical issues that cannot wait until the clinic reopens, patients are advised to seek immediate attention at the local urgent care center or emergency department.
