A diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Tamesis carries forward a profound family tradition of medical service. Influenced by his parents and grandfather—prominent figures in Philippine medicine and foundational leaders at Clinica Tamesis—he pursued his medical degree at the Far Eastern University Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation. His rigorous academic path was followed by exemplary residency training.
Following his move to the United States, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Vincent Charity Hospital. He then navigated the complexities of acute care during the pandemic as a hospitalist. For half a decade thereafter, he practiced as an outpatient internist with Sutter Health, where he was recognized as a clinician team leader and played a pivotal role in educating future doctors. These varied experiences across hospital and clinic settings empower him to provide truly holistic medical management at Tamesis Medical.
In 2026, he achieved fellowship status with the American College of Physicians, representing a significant career achievement and his dedication to advancing the field of internal medicine through ethics, advocacy, and superior patient care.
Motivated by his role as a husband and a father, he established this Direct Primary Care practice to move away from rushed appointments and toward the attentive, specialized care that your lasting health demands.
